~ TODAY ~



Today I will delete from my diary two days: yesterday and tomorrow.
Yesterday was to learn and tomorrow will be the consequence of what I
can do today.
Today I will face life with the conviction that this day will not ever return.
Today is the last opportunity I have to live intensely, as no one can
assure me that I will see tomorrow's sunrise.
Today I will be brave enough not to let any opportunity pass me by, my
only alternative is to succeed.
Today I will invest my most valuable resource: my time, in the most
transcendental work: my life.
Today I will spend each minute passionately to make of today a different
and unique day in my life.
Today I will defy every obstacle that appears on my way trusting I will
succeed.
Today I will resist pessimism and will conquer the world with a smile,
with the positive attitude of expecting always the best.
Today I will make of every ordinary task a sublime expression.
Today I will have my feet on the ground understanding reality and the
stars' gaze to invent my future.
Today I will take the time to be happy and will leave my footprints and
my presence in the hearts of others.
Today I invite you to begin a new season where we can dream that
everything we undertake is possible and we fulfill it, with joy and dignity.

Summer Storm Clear-Your-Head Spell

Summer thunderstorms provide a great opportunity for you to clear your
head. You're caught up, no doubt, in the midst of a busy social schedule
now, and perhaps looking for a way out of the whirlwind. The Chinese
goddess Tien Mu creates lighting by reaching into the earth with one arm
and reaching into a thundercloud with the other. She uses two huge
mirrors, turning the reflective sides to face one another, to create the
flashing bolt. This "enlightening" bolt can be used to clear your mind
during a summer storm. See the storm clouds as your mental confusion and
the earth as a grounding source. Each time the lightning strikes,
imagine the clouds in your mind becoming illuminated, while your feet
remain on the ground. When you are finished, thank Tien Mu for her gift.

School Becomes a Dangerous Place

...After 1900 the new mass schooling arenas slowly became impersonal places where children were viewed as HUMAN RESOURCES. Whenever you hear this term, you are certain to be in the presence of employees of the fourth purpose, however unwitting. Human resource children are to be molded and shaped for something called "The Workplace," even though for most of American history American children were reared to expect to create their own workplaces.

In the new workplace, most Americans were slated to work for large corporations or large government agencies, if they worked at all.

This revolution in the composition of the American dream produced some unpleasant byproducts. Since systematic forms of employment demand that employees specialize their efforts in one or another function of systematic production, then clear thinking warns us that incomplete people make the best corporate and government employees.

Earlier Americans like Madison and Jefferson were well aware of this paradox, which our own time has forgotten. And if that is so, mutilation in the interests of later social efficiency has to be one of the biggest tasks assigned to forced schooling.

Not only was the new form of institution spiritually dangerous as a matter of course, but school became a physically dangerous place as well.
What better way to habituate kids to abandoning trust in their peers (and themselves) than to create an atmosphere of constant low-level stress and danger, relief from which is only available by appeal to authority? And many times not even then!

Horace Mann had sold forced schooling to industrialists of the mid-nineteenth century as the best "police" to create moral children, but ironically, as it turned out in the twentieth century, big business and big government were best served by making schoolrooms antechambers to Hell.

As the twentieth century progressed, and particularly after WWII, schools evolved into behavioral training centers, laboratories of experimentation in the interests of corporations and the government. The original model for this development had been Prussian Germany, but few remembered.

School became jail-time to escape if you could, arenas of meaningless pressure as with the omnipresent "standardized" exams, which study after study concluded were measuring nothing real.

For instance, take the case of Bill Bradley. . . and George W. Bush,
two of the four finalists in the 2000 presidential race. Bradley had a horrifying 480 on the verbal part of his own SATs, yet graduated from Princeton, won a Rhodes Scholarship, and became a senator; Bush graduated from Yale, became governor of Texas, and president of the United States — with a mediocre 550.
If you can become governor, senator, and president with mediocre SAT scores, what exactly do the tests measure?

Perhaps they sort out good scientists from bad? If so, how is it that both the scientists principally involved in the Human Genome Project have strange scholarly backgrounds to say the least!

Same Old ~Same Old Story

The latest whiz bang scheme of the sadly deluded government is to introduce the national curriculum for children from birth,

allegedly children’s communication needs are not being met. At first glance this seems to be just another effort by a control freak government to control people from the cradle to the grave, but upon reflection I wondered why the government should suddenly be so concerned about children, there is the obvious thought that if children are manipulated from such an early age they will be used to it and therefore more malleable as adults.

It does seem to me strange though successive government’s have almost ignored children, there are no votes there and with the notable exception of Thatcher who took away the third of a pint of milk children used to drink at break time and a bit of manipulation of the education system children were largely left for their parents to care for.

A quick google revealed the growing belief in the phenomenon of “Indigo Children” and the more recent emergence of “Crystal children”

widely believed to be the next evolutionary stage for humans. Since the days of the “Dawning of the age of Aquarius” people have begun to be more aware and interested in spiritual matters. New age is now old hat, many people explore and live by alternative belief systems and more and more people are becoming psychically aware and trusting in their intuitions.

Can it be coincidence that since the 1980’s more and more children have been diagnosed with highly suspect conditions such as hyper activity and ADHD? The alleged symptoms that fit these children also fit Indigo children and now that Crystal children have been identified, who because of their high psychic abilities are late to talk, are increasingly diagnosed as autistic and prescribed drugs.

Is it concerned that a wave of people are growing up who simply will not conform in the way that is necessary for Government to be effective? Why are increasing numbers of children prescribed Ritalin and other drugs that will stunt their psychic growth as surely as they stunt their physical growth

I thought it suited the powers that be to have potential trouble makers in society shorter than they should be, making control of them much easier.Serious enough, but now I feel that the government is planning to monitor children from birth to see how many vulnerable indigo and crystal children they can identify and begin to manipulate.

Naturally you have probably been programmed by your experience in society to disbelieve my thoughts, and I almost wish I hadn’t begun to look into why it should seem to want to steal childhood entirely from children in this country.

However you look at it something is wrong, very wrong, all children are crystal, diamond, precious, rainbow and deserving of protection, not interference from the state. Not meddling, or monitoring but love, time and care from their parents and family.

How can it be right for children to be separated from their parents from birth? Why and when did we allow this to happen?
